How I Removed Lint from my Locs with the Loc Brush

How I Removed Lint from my Locs with the Loc Brush

Everybody with locs knows that lint is our worst enemy. So, tell me why I made the desicion to wrap a new micro fiber towel that seemed fuzzy in the first place, over my freshly washed locs.

As I am always trying out new products, you know, so you don't have to, I wanted to see how this towel compared to my favorite loc towel. I have yet to find a better towel to dry my hair than this super tin one that instantly dries and leaves no lint behind.

Even beach sand doesn't stick on it. That should tell you everything. Yet, I just wanted to see if there was a better one or at least how the two compared.

I instantly regretted it. It was as if I could feel the fuzzies of the towel taking over and started partying in my locs. I was scared, desperate yet still in some kind of denial. I was hoping it was not that bad. Well, it was. It was terrible.

I tried to go over it with my favorite loc towel but that didn't do much. Then I tried a small bristle beard brush. I choose the softest one but to no avail either. When I got to my loctician, I reluctantly asked, do you see a lot of red? She said, it's allover! I was crushed. What now?

I tried a brush similar to this one with soft bristles.

I tried detoxing and althoug the loc bombs kept my hair clean, smelling nice and soft, the red lint from the towel was very much still visible. Once these fibers grab into your locs, they holdon and it is really hard to get them out. With my micro locs it didn't even make sense to start poking in them, that was just damaging my locs.

Gentle Loc Brush to Remove Lint from Locs, Sisterlocks and Dreadlocks

Then finally I found this Loc Brush, yay! I first tried it on my ends while my hair was dry. It took a few strokes but I was amazed to see that the lint was coming out. The Loc Brush didn't feel rough on my hair, not at all. As a matter of fact, it felt nice!

The Loc Brush is really super gentle and yet effective at the same time. The flexible silicone bristles are designed to penetrate deep into locs without causing any damage.

You can also use it when your hair is wet or while shampooing your locs. The Loc Brush is really an easy and convenient addition to your hair care routine. I think everyone with Locs should have one.

That’s why I’m offering a special deal for the community. This Loc Brush is just $19.99, an affordable investment in maintaining beautiful, lint-free locs for years to come.
