  • The Global Exhibition: A curated photographic journey that has been showcased in New York City, Paris, Amsterdam, and Paramaribo, debunking stereotypes about Afro-textured hair.

  • The Movement: A lifelong effort to secure the basic human right for people of African descent to wear their natural hair without discrimination.

Acclaimed Author & Cultural Expert

She is the author of three definitive books on natural hair, including:

  • Kroeshaar: Wat je moet weten en meer: The first Dutch-language publication on natural hair care.
