Yes, I am leaving the USA—but not for the reasons you may think. This has been in the planning for a while. As much as I love Bed-Stuy, there is more to explore, and I’ve been preparing to embark on a new journey: traveling through Africa!
However, Brooklyn wasn’t going to let me leave without a grand finale. Not only did the Billie Holiday Theatre offer me the incredible opportunity to showcase BAD Hair Uprooted, but my natural hair portraits now share space with the life-size statue of Biggie Smalls—the iconic son of this neighborhood.
Now, I have the chance to say farewell with a Holiday Hair & Fashion Show—a celebration I dedicate to Bed-Stuy and to you, my dear supporter. Whether you’ve been a customer, a model, or a follower on this journey, I’d love to invite you to the What Naturals Love Holiday Hair & Fashion Show.
